This shop does what they say when they say it, and they do their best to not load a bunch of extra costs and labor onto the task at hand. In my case I could have parted with the completed diagnostic check for my problem but chose to have them purchase and install the MAF sensor. I had the option and respect them for not trying to sell me on the part or installation. I’m capable of the work myself but paid them to complete it due to their professionalism. Car repairs are not cheap so when you can find a shop that will not dig deep in your wallet unnecessarily it is best to take note of that and keep them in your contact list.

Dan's personal care in seeing that your cars needs and fixes is unparaelled. I had one of those interminting noises that he personaly drove it till it happend, found sources and drove it more for a week to make sure he got it. Unheard of at a dealership.

Chico Car Care is my new top mechanic for my Toyota Prius. The first time I stopped by, on a friend's recommendation, was to have them help me with tire issues, and the owner quickly assessed that I had worn one of them down to the wires. He said he could fix it, but also said it was just as easy to take to my favorite tire shop if I preferred. I had bought the tires at Les Schwab so that's what my cheapest alternative was. But the fact that they were willing to pass up business to get me assistance sooner than later impressed me that I could probably trust them with my next repair needs. Recently I had some minor repairs which included a headlamp out and a maintenance light on, and it had been 6,000 miles since my last tune-up. Dan assisted me and they were not only very polite and professional to communicate with, but they were prompt with my service (next day), paid for my Uber ride back to my house, and sent me a text with the recommended repairs which included photos of my parts needing repair as well as videos to help me understand the parts use in my car. My overall experience was awesome! I highly recommend them as honest and professional mechanics in Chico. Thanks Chico Car Care!
