Chico Auto Repair

Chico Car Care is my new top mechanic for my Toyota Prius. The first time I stopped by, on a friend's recommendation, was to have them help me with tire issues, and the owner quickly assessed that I had worn one of them down to the wires. He said he could fix it, but also said it was just as easy to take to my favorite tire shop if I preferred. I had bought the tires at Les Schwab so that's what my cheapest alternative was. But the fact that they were willing to pass up business to get me assistance sooner than later impressed me that I could probably trust them with my next repair needs. Recently I had some minor repairs which included a headlamp out and a maintenance light on, and it had been 6,000 miles since my last tune-up. Dan assisted me and they were not only very polite and professional to communicate with, but they were prompt with my service (next day), paid for my Uber ride back to my house, and sent me a text with the recommended repairs which included photos of my parts needing repair as well as videos to help me understand the parts use in my car. My overall experience was awesome! I highly recommend them as honest and professional mechanics in Chico. Thanks Chico Car Care!

Chico car Care has worked on my car on a few occasions. Every time the work was done promptly and correctly the first time. Took my car here to get my radio checked out and fixed.. They had my car from 830am to 5pm and informed me they couldn't figure it out. The man I spoke with suggested the fault could be due to the factory internal amp... There's no factory internal amp for my specific hybrid car. So, the mechanic really showed me they have no idea what they are doing. I know more about the vehicle than the mechanic working there. Pretty lame if you ask me. I will say however the man at the front desk was friendly and the shop did provide free uber rides back home and back to the shop. Overall, I won't be returning to this mechanic and would not recommend them to preform services.
